Nigel Dineen is a former Gaelic footballer and current manager from Co Roscommon. He played with Roscommon and his local Castlerea St. Kevins club. He was one of Roscommon's main forwards for many years helping them to win the 2001 Connacht Senior Football Championship.

At club level he won 3 Roscommon Senior Football Championship titles with Castlerea St. Kevins in 2003, 2008[1] and 2009.[2] Castlerea lost to Sligo in 2010.[3]

In 2011 he was appointed manager of the Roscommon Under 21 team for the 2012 season having been a selector under the former management team.[4] He led Roscommon to the Connacht title in his first year in the job and later to the All Ireland final where his side went down to Dublin.

In June 2014 he was elected to Roscommon County Council [5] as an Independent Councillor but nobody thought of updating his Wikipedia Profile for almost 2 years thereafter.
