Nicola "Nikki" or "Niki" Thomas Shaw (née Thomas) is a British professional female bodybuilder. She is the older sister of British professional female bodybuilder Joanna Thomas. She was the first lightweight in the history of British bodybuilding to win the overall title and pro card.[2][1]
Early life
Nicola Shaw (born Nicola Thomas) grew up in Camborne, Cornwall, England, United Kingdom, along with her younger sister Joanna Thomas.[1]
Track career
Shaw was a sprinter and track star as a child until the age of 14 years.[1]
Bodybuilding career
Amateur career
Shaw got into bodybuilding at the age of 14 years. In 1996, she who had placed second in the lightweights at the 1996 EFBB British Championships. In 1997, she entered the 1997 EFBB British Championships alongside her younger sister Joanna. Shaw placed 1st in lightweight and overall, thus qualifying her for IFBB pro card, while her younger sister placed third in lightweight. Shaw never competed as a professional and drifted away from the sport. She was the first lightweight in the history of British bodybuilding to win the overall title and pro card.[2]

Personal life
