Nikki Dean

Nikki Dean is a British TV presenter, born in Stockport and brought up in Cheadle Hulme, Greater Manchester. Nikki Dean studied at Sheffield Hallam University gaining a BA (Hons) in Media Studies majoring in Broadcast Journalism.

Dean currently works in a freelance capacity and credits include BBC Strictly Come Dancing online reporter, Backstage features Presenter and Voice artist for the 2010 series as well as reporter on a new Consumer focused programme. Dean has presented several TV shows and is perhaps most notable as the co-anchor of Channel M's former Breakfast Show for two years with Byron Evans (broadcaster) which broadcast until May 2009. She also presented Entertainment show 'City Life' in 2007 for the same channel.

She is an experienced Entertainment Reporter who has interviewed numerous Celebrities and personalities for several TV and web channels. Dean used to present the Entertainment News for Channel M, SKY 203 alongside Andy Crane and a rotating Sports Correspondent as well as various other Freelance reporting roles for other TV Stations including a daily Morning Health and Fitness Show on SKY 186 alongside TMF Presenter Hannah Peckham.

Nikki Dean is also a trained voice Artist from The London Academy of Radio, Film and TV and has numerous Professional Voice Credits, most notably the BBC Strictly Come Dancing Online show, 'Strictly in 60 Seconds' for the 2010 and 2009 TV series.

She began her presenting career on Student Radio station Sure FM where she presented the 'Drive Time News' Show and various Music Programmes before moving to work as Arts and Entertainment Reporter for Internet TV Station 'Lets go Global'.

Prior to presenting, Nikki worked as a TV Producer working on popular TV Programmes and TV commercials.

Nikki also holds certificates in Life Coaching, Performing Arts and Web Design as well as A Levels in Maths, English Literature and Communication Studies. Nikki is also a world class whistler.
