Nikola Popara (Serbian Cyrillic: Никола Попара, born 8 March 1992) is a Bosnian football midfielder who plays for Swiss Challenge League club Biel.
Club career
Born in Trebinje,[1] SR Bosnia and Herzegovina, SFR Yugoslavia, he played with FK Partizan youth team until 2009 when he joined Partizan s satellite club FK Teleoptik in the Serbian First League.[2]
In summer 2012 he made a move to a top league side FK Spartak Zlatibor Voda. He made his debut in the 2012–13 Serbian SuperLiga on 11 August 2012, in the first round match against FK Sloboda Užice.[2]
National team
Nikola Popara has represented Bosnia and Herzegovina at U-17 and U-19 level.[3]
On September 2013 he was selected for the Republika Srpska national football team.[4]
