Nils Tuasen

Nils Tuasen, died in 1700, was the last snapphane known to have been executed by Swedish authorities. He was indicted for killing a soldier of the Swedish army in 1677, during the ongoing Scanian War, and escaped to Denmark. Returning to his native Scania in 1699, he was located by authorities, arrested and executed.[1]
