The Nishanwalia Misl was a large Sikh Misl founded by Shergill Jats. It was founded in Dasaunda Singh Shergill and later led by Sangat Singh Shergill, had a strength of 2000 regular horsemen and covered the area of Ambala and Firozpur.[1]
