Nissoana or Nissowana or Naswana (Urdu: نسوآنہ) are a Jat clan.
They hold the northern corner of Chiniot District, and extend into the neighbouring parts of Sargodha Tehsil.[1]
History
According to the reliable history, Nissowana or Nissoana or Nisswana (Urdu: نسوآنہ) community belongs with the only caste nissoana. Arguments with Awan then Arab, are available in dependable records. Haji Malik Sahab Khan Nissowana (KotNaja) has written a book on various casts of Punjab specially on Nissowana community, he has also written many books in Urdu and Punjabi about religion and others considerable social matters. Nissowana family has been living in about 30 villages of District Jhang and Sargodha.
Hazrat Aon Qutb Shah Alvi
Abdul A'ala was a person from descendants of Hazrat Abbas Alamdar (Son of Hazrat Ali). He was also known with name of Abdullah Madni. Hazrat Syed Abdul-Qadir Gilani / Jeelani sent him to India to spread Islam. He started preaching Islam here and became famous with name of Qutb Shah.
