Nityanand Kanungo was an Indian politician from Odisha. He remained the Governor of Gujarat from 1 August 1965 to 6 December 1967. He was the Governor of Bihar from 7 December 1967 to 20 January 1971. He was a member of the Indian National Congress and was elected to the Lok Sabha three times (1952, 1957 and 1962) from Cuttack (Lok Sabha constituency) and also remained a Minister of Commerce.[1][2][3][4]
