Noah Gideon Segan (born October 5, 1983) is an American actor.

Acting career

Segan is best known for his work in Looper, Brick and an award-winning performance in Deadgirl.[1] Other film credits include Adam & Steve, What We Do Is Secret (as real-life Germs drummer Don Bolles), The Picture of Dorian Gray, Cabin Fever 2: Spring Fever,[2] Peaches Christ's All About Evil,[3] and Chain Letter.[4][5] Segan has also appeared in numerous television programs, including a briefly recurring role on the soap opera Days of Our Lives in 2007. That same year, he appeared in the music video for the Foo Fighters song "The One," which was featured on the soundtrack for the film Orange County. Other television appearances include CSI: Crime Scene Investigation and House, and the voice of Henry on the Nickelodeon cartoon show KaBlam!. In 2008, Brick director Rian Johnson invited Segan to play a small role in his second film, The Brothers Bloom.[6] In 2012, Segan had a supporting-lead role in Johnson's third film, Looper.[7] In 2013, he made a cameo appearance in an episode of the critically acclaimed drama Breaking Bad during the fifth-season episode "Ozymandias", also directed by Johnson. On April 21, 2016, he was added to the cast of Star Wars: Episode VIII, working once again with Rian Johnson.[8] He has produced and starred in the independent feature films Redeemer, Some Kind of Hate, Quit and Someone's Knocking at the Door and directed numerous music videos.[9] In 2014, Segan starred alongside Alex Essoe and Amanda Fuller in the horror thriller film Starry Eyes.[10] In 2015, he starred opposite Don Most in Owen Egerton's thriller film Follow[11] and played a role in Joe Begos's telekentic revenge thriller The Mind's Eye,[12] in which he co-stars with Graham Skipper and Lauren Ashley Carter.[13]On June 30, 2015, he appeared in the music video for "You Don't Know Me" by Son Lux alongside Tatiana Maslany.

Personal life

Segan was born in New York City, New York. He currently resides in Los Angeles. Segan is the grandson of American photographer Arthur Rothstein and the nephew of musician Rob Stoner.
