Nomophila noctuella, the rush veneer, is a species of moth of the family Crambidae. It has a nearly cosmopolitan distribution. In Europe, it is a migratory species, travelling from southern Europe and North Africa to Northern Europe.
The wingspan is 26–32 mm. The moth flies from May to September depending on the location.
The larvae feed on Clover, Medicago, Polygonum, Wheat and Vaccinium.
