Norsey Wood

Norsey Wood
Coordinates: 51°37′55″N 0°26′10″E / 51.632°N 0.436°E Norsey Wood is a mixed coppice woodland situated in Billericay, Essex, England. The nature reserve covers an area of 67.17 hectares or 165.98 acres (0.6717 km2),[1] and consists of a variety of habitats due to its distinctive, underlying geology. It has a remarkable history that has been calculated to go back some 4,000 years. It is a Scheduled Monument, Site of Special Scientific Interest[1][2] and a Local Nature Reserve.[3][4]
