North Kansas City Hospital is an acute care hospital located in North Kansas City, Missouri at 2800 Clay Edwards Drive.

Hospital Background

North Kansas City Hospital is a 451-licensed-bed and 72-acre (29 ha) campus containing the hospital itself, Health Services Pavilion encompassing patient rooms, outpatient services, offices for Hospital staff, physician offices and a conference center. Health Center North is the location for Home Health Services and NorthCare Hospice. There are two physician office buildings that are known as Medical Plaza North and Professional Building North. It opened on March 30, 1958 as an 80-bed facility.

The hospital was the second hospital client for an electronic medical record system developed by Cerner. In 2005 Cerner moved its world headquarters across the street from the hospital.[1]
