Northern Ostrobothnia (Finnish: Pohjois-Pohjanmaa; Swedish: Norra Österbotten; Russian: Северная Остроботния) is a region of Finland. It borders the Finnish regions of Lapland, Kainuu, Northern Savonia, Central Finland and Central Ostrobothnia, as well as the Russian Republic of Karelia.
