Northridge High School is the only high school located in Middlebury, Indiana.
About
Northridge High School is a comprehensive four-year school (grades 9-12) accredited by the North Central Association of Colleges and Secondary Schools. High School students may earn a diploma endorsement in a various number of ways, including Indiana Academic Honors, Academic, Business, Health Occupations, Family and Consumer Science, Industrial Technology, Technology of Vocational. There are three transition programs in which seniors can enroll in: the Elkhart Area Vocational School, dual credit at Glen Oaks College, Goshen College, Indiana University at South Bend and Ivy Tech, or a half day work experience program. A student can earn up to 16 credits each year towards the 40 credit graduation requirement.
The enrollment for the 2006-2007 school year was approximately 1250 students. There are 64 full-time certified staff members, 56 full-time teachers, four full-time counselors, one full-time media specialist and four full-time administrators.
In 2008, the 105,000-square-foot (9,800 m2) high school was built.
Academics
Northridge has adopted the International Baccalaureate program, which takes two full years to complete.
Northridge has a Science Olympiad Program, winning the State Competition in 2011.
Athletics
Northridge High School is part of the Indiana High School Athletic Association, which is a voluntary, non-profit organization available for any school in the state of Indiana accredited by the Indiana Department of Education. Northridge competes in boys basketball, football, baseball, wrestling, cross-country, track, swimming, tennis, golf, and soccer. Women can participate in basketball, volleyball, swimming, cross-country, track, soccer, tennis, softball, cheerleading, and golf.

Choral Department
The Northridge choir department has a total of six choirs; Northern Lights, Starlights, Lyric Lights, Chamber Lights, Varsity Lights, and Radiance. Northern Lights and Starlights compete as show choirs, and Starlights and Lyric Lights compete as concert choirs.
