Not a Drum Was Heard is a lost[1] 1924 American silent film directed by William A. Wellman.[2][3]

The title is taken from the first line of Charles Wolfe's poem "The Burial of Sir John Moore after Corunna":

Not a drum was heard, not a funeral note,
As his corse to the rampart we hurried;
Not a soldier discharged his farewell shot
O'er the grave where our hero we buried.
