Nouri Sardar (born 1990) is a British poet, spoken word artist, author and television personality from London. He is known for writing poetry related to Shia Islam. He also hosts TV shows on Ahlulbayt TV.[1]

Life and career

Nouri Sardar was born in London, United Kingdom to a Sunni Muslim family. At the age of 15 he converted to Shia Islam. He began his writing in 2007 and published his first poem titled 'We Remember' in 2009. Sardar than began performing his poetry as spoken word in seminars and conferences. In 2011, he released his debut spoken word album "Hussain To Me". In 2013, Sardar began presenting a show on Ahlulbayt TV titled, 'Poetry Corner'. He released his second spoken word album titled, 'The 10th' in 2014. He has also performed at various events including the Imam Hussain Conference in London and UMAA in Dearborn and Chicago.[2]
