November to Remember 1994 was a live event that took place on November 5, 1994 in the ECW Arena in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, US.
The event featured a retirement ceremony for The Sandman, who had seemingly been blinded in an "I Quit" match with Tommy Dreamer on October 1, 1994. During the ceremony, The Sandman's ex-wife, Peaches, attempted to reconcile with him, only to be interrupted by Woman, The Sandman's former manager, who had labelled him "useless" and abandoned him upon his blinding. Woman interrupted the reconciliation, caning Peaches and threatening The Sandman. After Dreamer came to the ring to protect The Sandman, The Sandman revealed that he was not in fact blinded and attacked Dreamer, with his estrangement from Woman revealed as a ruse to ensnare Dreamer.[1]
During the bout between Chris Benoit and Sabu, Sabu legitimately suffered a spinal cord injury resulting in nerve damage after receiving a botched back body drop from Benoit. Benoit subsequently adopted the nickname "The Crippler".[2]

On the October 16, 1999 edition of ECW Hardcore TV, the Impact Players (Justin Credible & Lance Storm) bragged about ridding the company of Shane Douglas, Sid, and the Sandman, before claiming their last remaining challenge was to defeat dysfunctional ECW Tag Team Champions Tommy Dreamer & Raven. Raven cost Dreamer numerous singles matches, including a bout against Storm on the October 29th edition of ECW Wrestling on TNN. The Impact Players would double-team both champions after they fought among themselves. Storm's valet Dawn Marie also targeted Dreamer's valet Francine, attempting to unseat the "Queen of Extreme" as ECW's top female. On the October 30, 1999 edition of Hardcore TV, it was revealed the Impact Players and a mystery partner would face Dreamer, Raven, and a mystery partner at November to Remember.
On the October 9, 1999 edition of ECW Hardcore TV, Joey Styles announced that new ECW World Champion Mike Awesome would defend against Masato Tanaka at November to Remember '99. On the October 16, 1999 edition of ECW Hardcore TV, Joey Styles revealed that ECW TV Champion Rob Van Dam would defend against Taz at November to Remember in a match the fans demanded. Following a loss to Sabu on the October 29th edition of ECW Wrestling on TNN, Taz attacked Van Dam from behind with the Tazmission.
On the October 15, 1999 edition of ECW Wrestling on TNN, Steve Corino interrupted Jerry Lynn's backstage promo and then lured him into a locker room attack by Yoshihiro Tajiri, with Tajiri targeting Lynn's broken ribs. Tajiri pinned Lynn on the October 30th edition of Hardcore TV after spraying red mist into Lynn's face.
On the October 29, 1999 edition of ECW Wrestling on TNN, Balls Mahoney & Axl Rotten saved Nova from an attack by Da Baldies faction of Angel, DeVito, and Vito "The Skull" LoGrasso. On the November 5th edition of Hardcore TV, Da Baldies vs Balls, Axl, & New Jack was officially announced for the pay-per-view, with footage shown of News joining Da Baldies in beating down Balls & Axl at the ECW Arena. New Jack attempted to make the save, only for Angel to staple him in the eye.
