Appaloosa Interactive
Appaloosa Interactive (formerly Novotrade International) was a corporation, founded in 1983 in Hungary, that produced numerous console games, computer programs and TV-commercials during the 1980s and 90's. The company's headquarters were in Palo Alto, California, and was the parent company and owner of two software development companies in Budapest, Hungary. Its most famous titles were probably the Ecco the Dolphin game series for Sega; they also developed the Contra games on the PlayStation and Sega Saturn for Konami. Their most recent game was Jaws Unleashed, a game based on the Jaws series of films.
The company ceased operations in 2006. Several of its developers moved on to Mithis Entertainment.
