Nowrozabad (Khodargama) is a town and a nagar panchayat in Umaria district in the Indian state of Madhya Pradesh.Kendriya Vidyalaya Nowrozabad is situated in the G.M Complex.
Demographics
As of 2001 India census,[1] Nowrozabad (Khodargama) had a population of 22,401. Males constitute 52% of the population and females 48%. Nowrozabad(Khodargama) has an average literacy rate of 59%, lower than the national average of 59.5%: male literacy is 68%, and female literacy is 49%. In Nowrozabad (Khodargama), 15% of the population is under 6 years of age.

Major employment source in the town are coal mines of South Eastern Coal Fields Ltd.
