Nupur Sharma

Nupur Sharma (born April 23, 1985) is an Indian politician. She is a former student activist of the BJP and was part of Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad (ABVP). She was elected as the president of Delhi University Students Union (DUSU) for 2008-09. Sharma has an LLM from the London School of Economics.[1] She completed her school education from the Delhi Public School in 2003. She did B.A. Economics (Hons.) at Hindu College of University of Delhi in 2006 and got a Law degree (LL. B.) from Faculty of Law, Delhi University in 2010. Sharma is an office bearer in the Bharatiya Janata Yuva Morcha (BJYM). She contested the 2015 Delhi election under a BJP ticket from New Delhi constituency. She lost the 2015 Delhi elections to Arvind Kejriwal by 31,583 votes.[2]
