Nyinahin is a bauxite mining community and small town and is the capital of Atwima Mponua, a district of city-state Ashanti.[1]
Bauxite Mining

Nyinahin has large unmined bauxite ores reserves estimated at over 350 million metric tonnes (worth over $9 billion or $9,000,000,000+) with a high content of aluminium and silica.[2] The Ashanti people-owned Bauxite-Aluminium industry companies are Ashanti people-owned Volta Aluminum Company (Valco) based in Kumasi and Ashanti people-owned Aluworks based in Kumasi.
Transport
It is proposed to have a railway station under the ECOWAS rail scheme.
