O`Mega is a luxury charter yacht. She was built in 1987 as a small passenger vessel from the ship yard of Mitsubishi Heavy Industries. in 2002 she was sold and converted into a superyacht.[1] One year later the steel motor yacht was completed and handed over to the owner. It is estimated that the cost of O`Mega at the time of construction was 52 million EUR. It was number 29 in the Power & Motor Yacht magazine's list of the World's 100 Largest Yachts 2008.[2] In 2011 she underwent a refit and her hull colour was changed from blue to white.[1]

Crew

O'Mega has a permanent crew of 29 plus a captain for a total of 30 crew members.[1]

Design

O`Mega has an overall length is 82.60 m (271.0 ft) and beam of 11.58 m (38.0 ft). She can accommodate 32 passengers and 26 crew members.[3]

Her main engines are two Yanmar diesel engines which can each generate 2,000 bhp while consuming 800 litres (180 imp gal; 210 US gal) of fuel per hour at 650 rpm. This allows her to achieve a maximum speed of 17 knots (31 km/h; 20 mph) and a cruising speed of 15 knots (28 km/h; 17 mph).[3]

Accommodation

O`Mega is well-appointed with many luxury amenities.

On the main deck, the main salon is finished with mahogany accents and is designed to accommodate many guests comfortably. The formal dining room, adjacent to the main salon, serves cuisine for up to 32 guests.

The upper salon features a piano bar, oversize sofas and a 50 inch plasma TV with full surround sound.

She has 16 guest cabins: 1 Master, 1 Upper VIP, 4 VIP, 5 Double and 5 Twin. All rooms have flat screen televisions, marble bathrooms and tailor made linen.

Additional facilities include gymnasium, massage parlour, and cinema/conference room.

O`Mega is equipped for scuba diving, water-skiing, fishing or windsurfing. Currently on sale for €57,500,00 after undergoing renovations.[4]
