OPTi 929
The OPTi 929 was a sound chip integrated onto sound cards sold in the early to mid-1990s. It provided Sound Blaster and AdLib compatibility, as well sample-based synthesis through the MPU-401 interface.[1] The set of samples was on a ROM chip.[1]
