Obroshyne (Ukrainian: Обро́шине) is a village in Pustomyty Raion, Lviv Oblast in western Ukraine.
The population of the village is about 4186 people and Local government is administered by Obroshynska village council.[1]

Geography

The village is located along the Highway M06 (Ukraine) (), which goes from Kiev to the Hungarian border near Chop. Distance from the regional center Lviv is 16 kilometres (9.9 mi) , 8 kilometres (5.0 mi) from the district center Pustomyty, and 274 kilometres (170 mi) from Chop.[2]
Nearby, at a distance of 4 kilometres (2.5 mi), is the village Basivka.

History

The first written mention of the village Obroshyne dates back to 1447 year.[3] But in Polish documents recorded the date 1456, when King Casimir IV Jagiellon gave this estate for of Roman Catholic Archdiocese of Lviv.[4]
