Ocean Flower Island (Chinese: 中国海花岛), or Sea Flower Island, is an under-construction, artificial archipelago located off the north coast of Hainan, China, west of the Yangpu Peninsula. The project, being built by the Evergrande Group, will consist of three independent islets with a total area of 381 hectares (940 acres).[1][2][3][4][5]
The project has received an investment of 160 billion RMB (24 billion USD) and is scheduled for completion in 2020. They intend to create:
- 127,000-square-metre (1,370,000 sq ft) marine world with a water park

- 40 kilometres (25 mi) of coastline
