It was featured during the first set of end credits in The SpongeBob SquarePants Movie,[1] and on the film soundtrack.[2]
Background
The song was recorded during the production of Ween's album The Mollusk. Recorded and performed with filtered vocalization, the song contains a mandolin riff, a powerpop drum beat, and an electric guitar solo from Melchiondo. The song has been performed live at various occasions, most notably Live in Chicago and Live at Stubb's . It has been featured during the end credits of The SpongeBob SquarePants Movie and in a 2003 commercial for the Honda Civic.
Reception
[3] Allmusic referred to this song as an example of how Ween's "array of silly jokes and musical parody is richer and more diverse than most of its alternative rock contemporaries.[4]"
