The ocellated poorwill (Nyctiphrynus ocellatus) is a species of nightjar in the Caprimulgidae family. It is found in Argentina, Bolivia, Brazil, Colombia, Costa Rica, Ecuador, Honduras, Nicaragua, Paraguay, and Peru. Its natural habitats are subtropical or tropical moist lowland forests and subtropical or tropical moist montane forests.
