Odaipatti is a panchayat town in Theni district in the Indian state of Tamil Nadu. The main products of this village are grapes, bananas, and coconut.
Demographics
As of 2001 India census,[1] Odaipatti had a population of 13,116. Males constitute 50% of the population. Odaipatti has an average literacy rate of 64%, higher than the national average of 59.5%: male literacy is 76%, and female literacy is 52%. In Odaipatti, 11% of the population is under 6 years of age. More than 100 youths from this village are working in the US forward military army as chief bakers, cooks. Their life too is very risky, but still taking the risk for money by working in Iran,Afghan wars as a part of US forward military forces.
