Elizabeth Agyeman is the member of parliament for the constituency. He was elected on the ticket of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) won a majority of 19,132 votes^[2] to become the MP. She succeeded Dr. Baffoh-Bonnie who had represented the constituency and had also stood on the ticket of the New Patriotic Party (NPP).
