Fauquier History Museum at the Old Jail is a historic jail building located in Warrenton, Fauquier County, Virginia. The two-part building consists of an original section which was built in 1808, and later expanded with a parallel second section in 1823. The original section is a two-story, brick building, which was built as the county jail and converted in 1823 to serve as the jailer's residence. It has a slate covered gable roof. A two-story, one bay addition was completed in 1824. Parallel to the original building is a two-story, stone jail structure. It operated as a jail until 1966, and now houses a local history museum known as the Fauquier History Museum at the Old Jail.[3] The museum was formerly known as the Old Jail Museum and is operated by the Fauquier County Historical Society.

It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1978.[1]
