Oldpark Football Club is an Irish football club based in the Oldpark district of north Belfast. It was founded in 1880 by members of the Oldpark Cricket Club.[1] It was subsequently a founding member of the Irish Football Association in 1880 and the Irish Football League in 1890, but retained membership only for two seasons. The club reached the final of the County Antrim Shield in 1890-91 but lost.They won 5 matches over Linfield and Glentoran in 2 seasons each, the best record ever held by a club in the Irish league. The club folded after the 1891-92 season. Oldpark FC have been reformed along with Oldpark United FC, Oldpark Swifts FC ,Oldpark Reds and Oldpark Corinthians who play in th NIFL [2]
