Oliver Wood (general)
Oliver Wood (June 25, 1825 – June 25, 1893) was an American Union brevet brigadier general during the period of the American Civil War. During the war, he led the 22nd Ohio Volunteer Infantry and the 4th United States Veteran Volunteer Infantry.[1] He received his appointment as brevet brigadier general dated to March 13, 1865.[2]
