Chersonissos F.C. (Greek: ΠΑΕ Χερσόνησος) is a professional football club based in Chersonissos, Crete in Greece.
Background
The club was founded in 1979.[1]
History
Chersonissos won the Delta Ethniki Group 10 championship in 2007-08, earning promotion to Gamma Ethniki, the third tier of Greek football, for the first time in the club's history.
In 2008-09, Chersonissos' first season in Gamma Ethniki, the team finished in 11th-place in the South Group.
Stadium
Chersonissos plays its home matches at Chersonissos Municipal Stadium. The stadium currently has a seating capacity of 1,000.
