One Voice (Brandy song)

One Voice is a gospel song by American recording artist Brandy. The power ballad was written by Gordon Chambers and Phil Gladston and appeared on Brandy's second album Never Say Never. In 1999 the song served as official theme song to her role as a UNICEF spokesperson.

Background

Norwood recorded the song in 1997 for her second studio album. After having previously collaborated with songwriter Gordon Chambers on her Grammy-nominated song Missing You, she and her team reached out to him again to work on her upcoming project. Norwood's father and gospel artist Willie Norwood, further gave background vocals to the song.
