Operation Share the Shanties is the fourth album by the American a cappella sextet Bounding Main, released in 2008.[1] It was a special edition CD for distribution to military personnel overseas and is not available commercially. The group visited Spangdahlem Air Base, Sembach Air Base, and Landstuhl Regional Medical Center while touring Europe in summer 2008.[2][3]
Overview
Operation Share the Shanties is an album containing highlights of previous CDs by the a cappella group Bounding Main, except for a new recording of The Star-Spangled Banner.
The album's front cover depicts the group cavorting on the deck gun of a naval ship (probably the USS Cobia (SS-245) in Manitowoc, Wisconsin).
