Opipeuter xestus, or the River Teiid, is a species of lizard in the Gymnophthalmidae family. River Teiids occur in Bolivia (Chuquisaca, Cochabamba and Santa Cruz provinces), Argentina (Jujuy, and Salta provinces), and in Peru. [1]
