Oracle Education Foundation

The Oracle Education Foundation is a nonprofit organization funded by Oracle Corporation. Its mission is to "inspire students globally to think, connect, create and share -- using technology to help them dissolve boundaries, fulfill their potential, and create a better society."

The Foundation operated an educational program called ThinkQuest, offers professional development for teachers, and makes grants to schools and nonprofits by invitation only. Thinkquest was closed by Oracle in 2013.

Originally, it was called the "Oracle Help Us Help Foundation" and made hardware grants to needy schools and youth organizations in the U.S. In 2003, the Foundation switched its focus to operating education technology programs such as ThinkQuest.
