Shay-Oren Smadja (Hebrew: אורן סמדג'ה, born June 20, 1970 in Ofakim, Israel) is an Israeli judoka.

Career

He won the Olympic bronze medal in judo at the 1992 Summer Olympics the under 71 category.[1] In 1995, he won a silver medal at the 1995 World Judo Championships. The next year, he could not repeat his Olympic success at the 1996 Summer Olympics.[2]

He coaches Israeli judoka Sagi Muki, who won the gold medal at the 2015 European Games in judo in the under 73 category.[3]
