The Jipe tilapia (Oreochromis jipe) is a species of cichlid native to Kenya and Tanzania where it occurs in Lake Jipe and the Pangani River. This species can reach a length of 50 centimetres (20 in) SL. This species is important to local commercial fisheries.[2]
