OrgSync provides an online community management system to higher education institutions in the United States and Canada. OrgSync enables colleges and universities to communicate with students and staff, track student involvement, and manage campus organizations and programs. Student organizations can manage their members, events, and websites.[1] OrgSync supports sustainability initiatives by giving campus administrators the ability to post online forms, conduct assessment and manage organization rosters without using paper.[2]

The company was founded in 2007 by students and alumni from the University of Texas at Austin with the goal of increasing communication among organizations and make it easier for student to get involved.[3][4] At the end of 2009, OrgSync has established partnerships with over 100 universities and colleges.[5] On April 30, 2010 the company relocated its headquarters from Austin, TX to Dallas, TX.[6]

The software is developed using Ruby on Rails and is hosted using cloud computing provided by Amazon Web Services.
