Orocrambus scutatus is a moth in the Crambidae family. It was described by Philpott in 1917.[1] It is found in New Zealand, where it has been recorded from Southland. The habitat consists of subalpine tussock grassland.

The wingspan is 26-30 mm. Adults have been recorded on wing from December to January.[2]
