Oscar Barrientos
Oscar Barrientos (born July 16, 1943) is the executive vice president and spokesman of Mighty Corporation since November 2013. He previously was a Philippine judge.
Personal life
Oscar Barrientos was born on July 16, 1943 on Occidental Mindoro, an island off the coast of Luzon south of Metro Manila. He is a qualified lawyer, having been admitted to the Philippine Bar on March 9, 1971. He graduated from the Pamantasan ng Lungsod ng Maynila, - a state university in Manila City - with a double degree in commerce and law. He later earned a master's degree at the Asian Institute of Management - one of the top graduate schools of business and public affairs in Asia.
Career
Barrientos is a well-respected businessman, professor, and lawyer, with vast experience in corporate law, financial management, and managerial accounting. He was a former judge of Manila City's Regional Trial Court (Branch 26) in 2003 as well as a former judge of Malolos City's Regional Trial Court (Branch 82) in 2006. Barrientos retired from being a judge and also took a leave from teaching in late 2012.[1] He joined Mighty Corp. as executive vice president and spokesman in November 2013.[2]).
