Osey Ramulamma is a 1997 Telugu film based on a woman's rebellion in Telangana. It is directed by Dasari Narayana Rao. It has Vijayashanti, Dasari Narayana Rao in the lead cast. The film premiered at the 1998 International Film Festival of India in the mainstream section.[1]
The film also stars Superstar Krishna and Tamil actor Ramki in special appearances.
Plot
Ramulamma (Vijayashanti), the main protagonist, is raped by a landlord when she is young. She rebels against the system and kills him with the help of Komranna (Dasari Narayana Rao).
