Osmania University College of Technology is accredited with 5 stars level by NAAC

The Osmania University College of Technology (OUCT), is situated in the main campus of Osmania University.

In 1943, the College began as a post-graduate section of applied chemistry in the Department of Chemistry of the Osmania University. In September 1969, it upgraded into the University College of Technology.

Presently, the college is being headed by Prof. Chintha Sailu . The College has been identified for Technical Education Quality Improvement Programme (TEQIP- II ) for strengthening of PG Programs, Research Activities and Faculty Development.

It is composed of three departments:

Student Activities

The college students actively participate in various students-centric activities. Students' Technological Society (STS) is a student society established to help students to gain all skills necessary to build themselves as technocrats. This society is an founded by Mr.Seetha Ram Prasad, student of the college along with Prof.Chinta Sailu, Principal and Prof.J.Hayavadana, Director, Training and Placement Cell in 2014.

Vision A society formed to develop all skills necessary for students to establish themselves in fields related to technology, design and engineering.

Mission Involving students in activities that not only benefit students in academics but also imbibe the necessary skills required to excel in professional life and thereby providing hope for promising career.
