Ottasekharamangalam is a village in Thiruvananthapuram district in the state of Kerala, India.[1]
Demographics
As of 2001 India census, Ottasekharamangalam had a population of 17434 with 8685 males and 8749 females.[1]
Religions
Various sections of Christianity, Hinduism and Islam co-exist harmoniously. Followers of Latin Catholic Church, Church of South India (SKD), St. Thomas Evangelical Church, ECI and Pentecostal Churches, form major Christian sects.
There is a famous Lord Siva temple in ottasekharamangalam. Lots of devotees attend in the annual Thiruvathira festival and Thirunal sadya. Temple is flanked by a river Chittaar.
