Otto Herzog
Otto Herzog (born 5 October 1888 in Fürth; died 27 October 1964 in Munich) was a German climber and inventor.
Life
Herzog was an early worldwide climber, who first began to use the Carabiner for climbing.
- 1913: First ascent of south side from Schüsselkarspitze, Austria (together with Hans Fiechtl)
- 1921: First ascent of Dreizinkenspitze in Karwendel, Austria (together with Gustav Haber)
