Outmind is the first studio album from Matthewdavid, released on Brainfeeder on April 19, 2011.[6] It features guest appearances from Niki Randa, Flying Lotus, and Dogbite.[7] Patric Fallon of XLR8R described the album as "an aural landscape that feels like being underground and underwater".[8] Meanwhile, Andrew Martin of Prefix said: "The album features Matthewdavid's blending of dubstep, hip-hop, and electronic music with plenty of deconstructed samples and lo-fi ambient sounds thrown into the mix".[9]
