Institute of Aviation & Technology also known as IAT is an internationally approved examination and training center offering wide variety of degree and license programs in aviation management & technology. IAT is also the aviation department of National College of Business Administration & Economics - Front Lane Campus which has been ranked second in management studies in Punjab, Pakistan as per the rankings of Higher Education Commission, Pakistan.
Institute of Aviation & Technology emerged as the only institute in Pakistan which was offering EASA (European Aviation Safety Agency) PART-66 Aircraft Maintenance Engineering License exams. Later IAT combined its Aircraft Maintenance Engineers License program with a 4 years bachelor's degree to provide its students with a much stronger technical and management back ground. IAT is also offering a BS Aviation Management degree, it is a 4 years specialized degree in Aviation Management. IAT has partnered with many international organizations, which include Air-Tech Bildung, Aero-bidlung, Amikon, HATA & FreeSky. IAT has partnered with EASA PART-147 Maintenance Training Organisations in Germany to offer EASA PART-66 Aircraft Maintenance Engineers License program. Recently IAT has partnered with Airborne Aviation, Lahore to offer a combined experience of management studies and fying to its students. IAT is the only institute in Pakistan which is conducting EASA PART-66 examinations in Pakistan on regular basis.

IAT is also having the gold membership of International Aviation Training & Education Organization (IATEO). The main campus of IAT is located in Lahore, Punjab, Pakistan; however IAT has its examination centers in Islamabad & Karachi as well. IAT has recently opened its campus in Dubai, United Arab Emirates and is offering EASA PART-66 examinations in Dubai, Abu Dhabi & Sharjah. Unlike other universities and institutes offering Aviation technical & management education in Pakistan, IAT has designed all its programs inline with the industrial requirements of Aviation industry of Pakistan and rest of world. Managerial and teaching staff of Institute of Aviation & Technology is having relevant education and work experience.
