Packers Pro Shop

Since 1989 the Packers Pro Shop has been the official retail store of the National Football League's Green Bay Packers. The 8,500-square-foot (790 m2) two-story retail destination is located at Lambeau Field in Green Bay, Wisconsin. The store is owned and operated by the Green Bay Packers.

Design

The store's décor features a giant football chandelier which contains 53 footballs, Packers 'G' carpet and a refurbished 1957 green and gold Chevy pickup on the second level. All store fixtures relate to the Packers brand.

Merchandise

The store offers a variety of merchandise for fans from game jerseys and a broad range of tailgating provisions to cheese head foam hats. Over 3,000 individual items are carried in stock. Sizes in apparel range from newborn to 4XL. Many items are exclusive to the Packers Pro Shop including a full line of Lambeau Field merchandise.

History

The Packers Pro Shop opened as a 17' by 17' space in 1989. In 2002 the new flagship store opened with 6,500 sq ft (600 m2). at its present site at Lambeau Field. In 2007 another 2,000 square feet (190 m2) were added.

In 2002 the 3,300-square-foot (310 m2) Packers Pro Shop Game Day Store opened on the west side of Lambeau Field to accommodate crowds on Game Days and special events. It was expanded in 2008 and 2,000 sq ft (190 m2). were added to better serve customers.

In 1995 in-stadium concession sales were added with 7 locations around the stadium. In 2004 3 kiosks were added to accommodate guests on the stadium's club levels. Suite delivery was also introduced in 2004 and services continue to be upgraded.

The Packers Pro Shop Extra Points Store opened in 2003. This store is located in the Lambeau Field Atrium and is nostalgic in feel. It features an extensive selection of Vern Biever historic photographs as well as throwback jerseys, Hall of Fame merchandise, Curly's Pub merchandise and Acme Packer apparel reminiscent of the 1920s.

Online shopping

In 1997 the first internet site for the Packers Pro Shop was launched. The site attracts 1.1 million visitors each year. The website received an upgrade in 2004 and is receiving another new upgrade in 2009.
