Paddington Jones (1766 – 22 August 1833) was a boxer from 1785 to 1805. He was born in Paddington, London.

Career

Jones is credited with having fought more bouts and seconded more pugilists than any person before him. He fought many notable bare-knuckle boxers of his day, including Caleb Baldwin, and in 1799 lost to Jem Belcher in the Middleweight Championship of England.

Death

Jones died in Paddington on August 22, 1833 at age 67.

Honors

Jones was elected to the International Boxing Hall of Fame in 2010.
